i have come across sevral items that i should have sold to people rather than merchants(ie, black dye,felblade) but the thing that gets me is the Sickle , i have had atleast 5 of them 1 very close to max 6-26 i think. now i know the value of these so called rare items.but just bacause the item doesnt popup in the popular farming areas , doesnt meen it's rare.heck i know the exact place and mob where i found these items of lore. so plz explore and see what drops what, plus it's alot better/more fun than farming.

Thing is that they're cool and people realize that. Personally, I don't care if they're rare or not, which they according to you, are not.

non max sickles arent the rarest things, but its the max damage sickles that really get to people.

I think most of us enjoy the "cool" not as often seen items for our characters. I did have someone trying to talk me into buying his inferior gold spatha 14% >50 claiming it was Rare to find a gold sword this close to perfect. My response was simple. My sword isn't gold, but I think the stats are more important than the look. I rather like my vampiric 15-22 15% in stance 3:1 longsword of fortitude +25HP (yes I am working on finding a better grip of fortitude but this one will do for now

)

So Rare or hard to get items are nice I guess. But before I worry too much aboutt hat I would rather get my actual Stats up there. It's all in what you want from the game I guess. To each his own.

Marine, I wish I had a sword like that. Longswords are the... 2. coolest swords in the game, beaten by Flamberge's and Gladiuses.

Yha since Crystalline Sword is an axe. (oh yeah people ask me "so what axe is that?")

There are other area's where to find rare skins of diff items...
I have yet to find 1 sickle or Tribal Axe..

I've only seen brute swords in Kryta, though (there the brown one's all the NPC warrior dudes are walking around with in Lion's Arch), but I've never seen a max dmg one.

I have one, unless by max you mean 15>50; it's sitting in my inventory right now. I don't know where you'd find it though.

They are nice. Don't like that look so much, but the effects are undeniable

. You can get mine from the collector in snakedance (rankor side). Of course you'll have to acquire the mods u want. I still have 25 mountain troll tusks that I really have no use for (I already have my sword and don't need the other items he gives)

my friend gave me a tribal axe. theyre hilariously big, but it was only like 10-15 damage and i think i deleted it by accident when rerolling

The Minotaurs outside of Ice Tooth cave drop sickles a lot. they are all crappy dmg though.

i tried to pursue them up the chain (forest minos, desert minos) but only the north shiverpeak ones seem to drop them.

max brutes are pretty easy to find really, i have had them drop on drake runs, occasionally they will be one off of max though, but max ones can and do drop there

so lemme get this strate, brute swords are valuable.i have had my share so they cant be rare, do people like the looks cuz personally they are ugly?
